Dresden can be reached from all over the world via the major hubs. There are very good non-stop connections between Dresden and various airports in Germany (Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Munich, Cologne/Bonn, Stuttgart).
From Dresden Airport (DRS) in the north of the city, there is a direct suburban train connection (line S2 every 30 minutes) to the main railway station (journey time 20 minutes). Alternatively, you can take the city bus 77 from Dresden Airport to Dresden Infineon Nord and then streetcar no. 7 (direction Pennrich) to the main railway station.

You can travel also via the airports Berlin (BER) or Leipzig/Halle (LEJ). There are train and Flix bus connections to Dresden main station.
